SBYC Junior Sailing Program

The Spray Beach Yacht Club began as a sailing club in the 1920’s and is committed to continuing this tradition. The Junior Sailing Program is designed to develop knowledgeable youth sailors and instill in them a love for sailing. Our eight-week summer sailing program is designed for beginners through advanced racers ranging in age from 7 through 18. This summer’s program will run from Monday, June 22nd through Friday, August 14th. Sailors may also register for a four-week session.

All of our instructors are experienced sailors and racers. Many of them have competed in local, regional, national and international events. Instructor qualifications include SafeSport certification, First Aid/CPR certification, NJ Safe Boating certification and US Sailing Level 1 coursework and/or certification.
