Spray Beach Yacht Club exemplifies all that is the rich history and beautiful culture of Long Beach Island.  Members enjoy a full assortment of land and water experiences, including a newly upgraded marina as well as youth sailing and social programs.

Members drive the governance and operation of the club. Club management is composed of flag officers and a board of governors, operating under our by-laws, with a committee structure chaired by members.  We rely on the skills and voluntary contributions of our members for its continued success and enjoyment. 

Our Junior program offers wonderful socializing opportunities through our Sailing program, SBYC Camp, and weekly Friday and weeknight activities. Juniors enjoy hours of fun on and by the beautiful bay, building memories as well as water awareness.    SBYC also offers a Summer Junior program. Here children participate in our sailing program with the option to join SBYC Camp and other activities without a full membership.  

SBYC offers several comprehensive membership options that would provide access to all programs and facilities at club rates.  New members can anticipate paying an initiation fee and annual dues.  Boat slip fees and junior programs are assessed annually.

New applicants need two sponsors from current membership and once approved, they are introduced to all the club offers through a mentorship program.  Once a new member completes the required two-year probationary period with approval by the Board of Governors, membership is granted with full voting privileges.  

Boat slip application is available to members in good standing.
